“The End That Wasn’t” (John 19:30). Even though Jesus was the victim in everything that happened to him, it’s clear that he is in complete control of the situation, right down to the timing of his own death. It’s a reminder that even Jesus’ staunchest enemies ultimately have no control over him. He is indeed the master of everything.
