“Feeling Abandoned” (Matthew 27:46). Perhaps none of Jesus’ seven last words generates as much confusion and debate as his question to God over feeling abandoned. It’s easily the most agonizing of them. But had he truly been abandoned, or did he just feel that way? It’s an important question with possibly significant implications for us.
