“In Enemy Territory” (Acts 8:4-8). Although Jesus was King of the Jews, his mission was bigger than Israel. Isaiah 49:6 says God’s plan was to make Jesus “a light for the Gentiles, so that [His] salvation may reach the ends of the earth.” As the gospel moves out of Jerusalem, it moves to one of the last places many Jews would have expected: Samaria.
